Michelina Smith (she/her) is a Rhode Island-raised, NYC-based theatre professional with a passion for directing, choreography, producing, and talent management.

As a dancer-turned-actress-turned-director, Michelina was always drawn to the performing arts, but it wasn’t until high school that she found her artistic voice through theatre: an outlet that empowers socially anxious teenagers to embrace their unapologetic selves.

Michelina graduated summa laude from Fordham University at Lincoln Center with a B.A. in Theatre Directing and a B.A. in English. She is currently pursuing an M.A. in Performing Arts Administration at New York University to deepen her expertise in the arts and entertainment sector.

Whether it be in a creative or administrative setting, Michelina sees herself as the nexus between the business of art and the art itself. She aspires to contribute to the longevity of creative communities by cultivating art that empowers creators and connects audiences.
